We work closely with scientists, engineers and designers to create new and innovative fabrication techniques to meet the most stringent specifications and designs. American Durafilm designs and manufactures to order any size bag. In addition custom fittings can be installed and rigid Teflon® tubing can be heat sealed into bags allowing gases and liquids to flow in and out. Through thermoforming, Teflon® FEP, PFA and Tefzel®, and Aclar® (PCTFE) films can be formed into three-dimensional shapes to take advantage of one or more of the above unique properties.

 Over the past forty years, American Durafilm Co., Inc. has developed the art of thermoforming thermoplastic Teflon®, Tefzel®, and Aclar® film to offer an innovative solution to some of the design problems encountered in many industries.

Intubated Bags

 American Durafilm Co., Inc. fabricates all of our bags to custom specifications. This includes heat sealing FEP tubing into the bag, installing custom bulkhead fittings, and heat sealing larger fittings for the most demanding applications.

Kapton® Bags

 American Durafilm Co., Inc. offers bags fabricated from DuPont KAPTON® Type FN Film which are available in thicknesses from 1.2 mils to 5.0 mils. Bags can be designed and manufactured to any size with custom fittings installed as well as rigid TEFLON® tubing heat sealed into bags to allow gases and liquids to flow in and out.
